Role: Steam Turbine Field Engineer / Project Manager / TFA

Pay Rate: $110-$150 CAN / Hour, Subcontractors (1099) options also available
Other compensation: Overtime, Per Diem, and Sales Incentives

We primarily supply personnel to OEM and Utility clients to support outages or supplement their in-house workforce during turbine outage planning and execution.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Technical direction and project management steam turbine generator maintenance outages (Minor, Major, Valves, Bearings, etc)
  • Documentation of outage findings, with prompt and professional reports
  • Provide Repair/Replace recommendations
  • Outage planning, parts identification, scope development, schedule input
  • Technical Support and Consultation
  • Troubleshooting of Turbine and Auxiliary systems
  • Outage Client Representation and vendor oversight
Required experience and attributes:
  • 7+ years experience as Turbine Field Engineer / TFA (Technical Field Advisor) / Utility Turbine Maintenance Engineer
  • OEM training and experience with GE, Siemens, Alstom, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, or other OEM turbine generators
  • Reliable, High Energy self-starter
  • Committed to safety and quality
  • MUST HAVE LEGAL AURTHORIZATION TO WORK IN CANADA (Canadian Citizen, work visa, Dual Citizen, etc)
Desired Additional skills:
  • Scheduling (P3, P6, MS Project, etc)
  • Good professional network (both technical and clients)
  • Other specialty skills – MHC / EHC Controls, Vibration, Generator, Complex alignment, etc
  • Additional languages – Spanish, etc
