Timing: Immediate
Pay Range: $110 – $160/hr, Contract project work (W2 or 1099)
Other compensation: Overtime, Per Diem, Expenses, and other incentives also available

            We are an independent supplier of turbine and generator field engineers for the power generation industry. We regularly supply turbine generator engineers and specialists to power generation OEMs, Utilities and third party maintenance providers as needed to troubleshoot or repair turbine generator systems.
            We are currently seeking experienced and independent GE Mark V, VI, and Vie gas and steam turbine control specialists to support continued growth of our North and South American field service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
·         MUST HAVE: GE Turbine Controls system troubleshooting, maintenance, startup, installation and retrofit experience and training
·         MUST HAVE: Experience on GE Mark V, V-HMI, VI, or VIe control systems
  • MUST HAVE: Current legal status to work in the USA.
  • Provide I&C consulting services to customers operating a wide range of original equipment, including:  generators and motors, excitation controllers, and turbine auxiliary systems
  • Interpret specifications and technical requirements, verify customer interconnections, and knowledge of all aspects of electrical interface with the control system
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years field experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.   
                                                               
Desirable Experience:
·         Generator OEM Controls Field Engineer training: (GE, Siemens, Brush, Westinghouse, etc)
·         General DCS and BOP controls experience
