Grubb Engineering, Inc. (GEI) is recognized as a leading authority in the design, commissioning, and maintenance of low, medium and high voltage electrical power systems.  In addition the company provides design for instrumentation, control and SCADA systems. Because Grubb Engineering combines Engineering and Testing in the same firm, our technicians can provide feedback on the design.  GEI has over 40 years of experience with water/wastewater facilities, electric utility facilities and large industrial electrical infrastructure. Grubb Engineering, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Texas in August 1981. 
The Engineering department can provide electrical, instrumentation, SCADA and control system design.  This includes but is not limited to potable water pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, sewer lift stations and electric utility facilities.  Additional services include physical and computer radio path studies, protective device coordination studies, arc flash hazard studies, load flow studies, predominant kilowatt usage studies and power quality analysis.
The Technical Services department can provide a large array of electrical testing.  A full range of modern test equipment is used to provide maintenance and testing of protective relays, transformers, grounding, circuit breakers, and additional equipment. GEI can also perform thermal infrared scans of electrical equipment.  The lead technician in the testing department is a Certified Senior Engineering Technician by the National Institute for the Certification of Engineering Technicians (NICET) as well as an Electrical Testing Technician Level III (ETT-III) by the International Electrical Testing Association, Inc. (NETA).
