Position Description:

Somnology is seeking an intelligent, inquisitive and, energetic recent, or near-graduate with BS or MS in computer science, bioengineering, or another technical discipline. The candidate needs to be exemplary in articulating verbally and in writing, engaging and demonstrates success in working as a team member in a high-energy environment. Ability to clearly and simply conceptualize and convey complex problems. The opportunity requires the successful candidate to have proficiency with technical software programs while able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. High level of self-motivation and professionalism with a can-do attitude, even in the face of demanding pressures and deadlines. The candidate will be working with Somnology’s management while maintaining a high level of autonomy. Job Type: Potential opportunity for full-time position

Experience:
High interest in digital health solutions that integrate wearable devices, mobile apps and cloud-based data analysis and user dashboards.

Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#/C++, PHP, Python, or other. Familiarity with JSON data representations and REST API formats.

Experience with data science frameworks: Especially Jupyter Notebook, or NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Tableau etc...

High interest and familiarity with the application of AI (cloud-based) to derive patterns and trends to attain insight from large data sets of clinical data.

Familiarity with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database design principles with some hands-on implementation experience.

Familiarity with cloud services offered by AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud or others, and experience configuring and deploying some cloud service.

Working knowledge of MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and/or Google Docs/Sheets/Slides.

Experience with technical market research of web service, mobile app or device; summarizing results in a comparative and understandable format.

Maintain good Team chemistry in a Fun environment.
