RegenerateNZ Ltd. (Re-Generate) was formed in August 2017 as a specialist energy and water solutions business with commercial activities spanning; consulting, design, supply, specialist services and contracting.  The company has core operations within the hydro-generation industry but also applies specialist skills and services to general industry relating to energy and water optimisation across the Pacific region.

Re-Generate core specialist competencies include;

• Exceptional mechanical engineering and design skillsets;
  • Turbine design and refurbishment (Pelton, Francis and Kaplan) together with supporting ancillary systems (valves, gates, hydraulics, filtration, control systems etc).
  • Water treatment and conveyancing (pumps, pump stations and pipelines).
• Electrical Engineering
  • Controls and protection systems design, commissioning, troubleshooting etc.

  • Re-Generate is well respected in the fields of Safety in Design (SiD) and is often engaged to facilitate HAZOP and FMEA workshops.

• Experienced installation and commissioning engineers;
  • Our designers are often the same engineers involved with supervision of installation and commissioning of the assets.  Knowledge and experience of these key project phases feeds into improved design decisions.
• A broad understanding of the entire asset lifecycle with many of our projects relating to maintenance, refurbishment and operational support activities;
  • This appreciation of O&M requirements helps to inform good design to achieve best practice from an asset management perspective.
• Extensive experience working in a manufacturing environment;
  • A valuable skillset when managing technical and quality objectives with our manufacturing partners.
• Knowledge and experience with wide ranging feasibility studies and business case development;
  • Commercial acumen drives design and equipment selection decisions to maximise ROI.
  • An inherent understanding of energy and water management, networks, distribution and markets.
  • Energy modelling, energy audits, water and wastewater audits and benchmarking.
