H2Engineering, Inc. (H2E) is a Florida-based mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) engineer consulting firm. H2E was founded in 1977 as Hines, Hartman and Associates, Inc. to provide mechanical and electrical engineering services to the North Florida market. Keeping our roots, in 2008, we changed our name to H2Engineering, Inc. in tribute to the two H’s, Hines and Hartman, founders of the firm. With our headquarters in Tallahassee and an office in Gainesville, Florida, today, we provide a variety of engineering services such as architectural engineering design, building information modeling (BIM), commissioning services, construction administration, energy models/life cycle cost analyses, engineering studies/reports, sustainable certifications, and utility service/site design across Southeastern United States.

For 42 years, we have provided clients with great service through relationships. H2E focuses on developing strong personal relationships with clients by examining each project holistically and exceeding expectations. At H2Engineering, our mission is to be ‘Your First Choice.’ This is a reflection of our dedication to exceed clients’ expectations at every level. The relationships we have and continue to build are the foundation of our success. Founding partner, Mike Hartman instilled these values in the company, and our current principals, Matthew Scaringe and Ryan Chewning continue to foster them as they steer the company into the future.
