About Us: Midé is a small but well-established research and development firm that provides innovative engineering solutions to our customers’ most challenging problems. We apply our system-level approach to projects in many areas and markets.  Midé has its solutions on systems ranging from the International Space Station to US Navy destroyers.  Our solutions often leverage our core expertise in smart materials (such as piezoelectrics and shape memory alloys) providing unique benefit to our customers whom we consider partners in development with us. The foundation of our business is in primary R&D contracts with large corporations and US government agencies such as DoD and NASA, where we develop systems all the way from concept to product.
