General Purpose:       
NEW VISION DISPLAY is seeking a Sales and Field Application Engineer to support our rapid sales growth in LCD and Touch Panel products within the automotive industry. In addition to sales responsibilities, he/she will serve as a technical interface between the customer and the factory during the complete life of the project. This position is based in our Kowloon, HK office. Candidate reports directly into the Director of Sales for the Asia Pacific region.
 
Principal Accountabilities:
* Generate new leads and aggressively grow sales within the APAC market
* Develop and manage customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention
* Define NVDs priorities based on rapidly changing market and technology
* Track sales/project details and provide regular reports to senior management
* Analyze existing customers’ TP and display solutions to find competitive alternatives
* Provide technical advice to customers on the TP and display solutions available to them and their integration into the end product(s)
* Maintain contact with customer engineers and provide technical support
* Communicate efficiently with China-based factory teams (Project Management, RFQ, QA and Engineering)
* Provide support to QA, explaining failure analysis to customers
* Review product specifications, FA and CAR reports, and other documentation for data and language accuracy before providing to customers
 
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2-3 years B2B sales experience within LCDs and touch screens
* B2B sales experience within automotive industry also desired
* Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
* Fluency in English and Mandarin. Fluency in Japanese or Korean is also a plus.
* Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Good presentation skills.
* 1-2 years engineering experience is desirable though not required
* Degree in physics or engineering preferred
* Ability to travel, including internationally on short notice
