Archer Wire, a global manufacturing company specializing in the fabrication and finishing of wire products, is seeking an Engineer to join our team. Our commitment is to deliver quality products to our customers on time. Working out of our plant in Bedford Park, the Engineer serves a vital role in honoring this commitment every day. 
In collaboration with the Engineering Team, the Engineer designs and creates production layouts for new product development and improvement of existing product lines to ensure production meets the required deadlines and quality standards are met.
Minimum experience/knowledge/skills/abilities include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficient in AutoCad; experience with Solidworks preferred
• Motivation and ability to continuously learn new skills
• Proficient communicator (oral & written) with the ability to work effectively with others
• Must be dependable, reliable, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in team environments
• Ability to stretch thinking to new and innovative ways to continue to grow the department
