The firm was founded by Tom Joiner (now retired) in 1981 with Bob Wood, P.G. and C.E.O., and Ken Hanby, petroleum engineer and President. Joe Patrick, P.E., P.G. and Vice President, joined TJA in 1990 as an environmental engineer. The TJA staff comprises individuals from a wide range of scientific disciplines and experience including geology, hydrology, petroleum engineering, environmental engineering, and civil engineering.
