Senior Environmental Consultant

About the role:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, execute and manage innovative assessment and remedial strategies
• Design and implementation of site remediation systems with applications of conventional and innovative technologies
• Develop & negotiate optimal solutions for our clients
• Procure and direct site investigation and remediation subcontractors
• Lead and design vapor intrusion assessment and remediation projects
• Prepare Brownfields and due diligence project strategies
• Prepare expert reports and conduct expert review of reports prepared by others
• Develop relationships and mentor junior staff
• Participate meaningfully in leadership & technical development as a student and as an instructor
• Build a network of valuable contacts through client relationships, vendor relationships, and professional associations

The selected candidate will have task-level and project-level responsibility for scoping, performing, managing and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments. Consistent with our business model, the selected candidate will also be expected to play a role in lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring.

About you:

• Preferred candidates will have a BS or MS in engineering, geology or environmental science and a minimum of eight years of related work experience for an environmental consulting firm.
• Professional licensure, where applicable, is preferred.
• Excellent technical writing skills, demonstrated critical thinking skills, and outstanding engineering/scientific problem-solving abilities are required.
