Company Description:

SAWMACK Geotechnical & Testing, LLC located in Brenham, Texas, is seeking a highly motivated full time, Civil or Structural Engineer with Geotechnical Engineering background. We are looking for a someone who is interested in pursuing the fields of Geotechnical Engineering, Foundation Design, and Construction Materials Testing. A Professional Engineer that is licensed in the State of Texas is preferred. You must be willing to travel to Brenham for an interview.

Duties would include but not be limited to: -Engineering Analysis -Report Preparation -Field Exploration and Laboratory Services -Direct Communication with Clients -Business Development

Job requirements: -Minimum Bachelors in Engineering with emphasis in Structural/Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or related engineering field; MS degree with a Geotechnical Engineering focus, strongly preferred -Minimum certification as PE license in the State of Texas, is a must.

Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills -Knowledge and Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD, and iGINT -Organized -Works well with others

Preferred Skills: -Experience in Geotechnical Report Preparation -Background in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering
