Korea Association of Machinery Industry (KOAMI) is the leading
industrial organization for the machinery sector in korea. KOAMI
provides practical help for domestic and overseas companies
including individual members.
KOAMI was established in 1969 as a nonprofit manufacturers'
association based on the "Promotion Act for the Machinery Industry"
proclaimed in 1967. KOAMI has acted as an unified body with the
authority to speak for the industry.
KOAMI's member companies are manufacturers, importers and
distributors of machinery. The majority of members are small and
medium sized enterprises.
KOAMI is recognized as a leading association by the Ministry of
Trade, Industry & Energy(MOTIE). The organization represents
machinery manufacturers.
