IronCADÂ has announced the release of Service Pack #1 for IronCAD DCS 2025. This update includes enhancements to the application’s quality and usability.
What’s new in Service Pack #1
This release includes a pre-release of the new Piping Module, designed for precision piping design. With a suite of tools and libraries, the Piping Module simplifies complex piping tasks and brings unprecedented efficiency to design process.
Key features of the Piping Module:
- Toolboxes of standards:Â Access predefined industry standards or customize custom specifications to meet project requirements. This flexibility empowers users to adhere to international norms or tailor designs to specific project needs.
- Automatic routing and splitting:Â The module includes automatic routing capabilities for efficient pipe layout. It also supports splitting runs and integrates components such as flanges, elbows, fittings, and welding gaps with accuracy.
- Dynamic updates:Â Experience real-time modifications as any changes to the piping route are instantly reflected in the 3D model. This dynamic update mechanism guarantees that every component and connection remains accurate and true to the intended design.
Additional highlights of IronCAD 2025 SP1:
- Pre-release testing:Â The Piping Module pre-release is available for initial testing, giving users a first-hand opportunity to explore the new functionality and provide invaluable feedback.
- Standard development:Â This update includes a foundational set of ANSI/GB/ISO standards for welded pipe, with plans to expand the library to support additional standards in the official launch.
- Free initial launch:Â For now, the Piping Module is available as a free-to-use tool for all IronCAD customers, allowing you to experience its benefits without any immediate cost.
- Future availability:Â Looking ahead to IronCAD 2026, the Piping Module will be included for all active IronCAD Armor Advantage (AA) and Software Subscription (SS) customers. For non-AA/SS customers or those reactivating their subscriptions, the module will be available for an additional annual fee.
