The Clarity Cloud allows project designers to easily automate repetitive tasks and view relevant performance insights.

3D design solutions company IMAGINiT Technologies recently unveiled its new custom-built software as a service (SaaS) solution, the IMAGINiT Clarity Cloud. This will provide small to mid-sized architecture and engineering enterprises with access to the capabilities of the IMAGINiT Clarity platform, which offers Revit and BIM task automation and analytics. With the power of cloud technology, task automation can now be run without the need for IT specialists or on-premise hardware. The Clarity Cloud is currently equipped with task automation for Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD in BIM 360 applications, with several additional features to be rolled out soon, according to IMAGINiT.
Designers will now be able to schedule tasks to run automatically, allowing teams to save time on repetitive tasks while optimizing workflow. As stated by IMAGINiT Technologies President Bill Zavadil, the software will “enable employees to focus more time on strategic inputs instead of mundane, repetitive tasks.”
Users can expect a variety of tools that automate manual processes to help make project management and performance more efficient. This includes repetitive tasks such as publishing Revit to BIM 360, coordinating federated files with model coordination, and exporting views and sheets to multiple formats. Other tasks that can be automated include creating PDF sets, enabling eTransmit for files leaving BIM 360, project backup to a specific folder or system, and data sheet creation for rooms, equipment and furniture. Users can also automate the exporting of DWG files to share with BIM 360, Dropbox, Box, or an FTP site.
Performance data can now be easily viewed and monitored thanks to the platform’s analytics capabilities, which let users track over 60 model metrics. Analytics criteria can be customized and set to provide an overall model health score. It also highlights specific projects and models that require immediate attention, allowing teams to address problems and issues as they occur. Besides model and project visibility, the platform also provides overall visibility for various enterprise levels, including group and firmwide.
According to IMAGINiT, accessing project data was simplified to provide organizations with extensive data insights into project performance. This means that even non-Revit users can easily run reports and export model data for business intelligence applications without needing to navigate through complicated interfaces and information. Design data can now be used to inform decisions at the enterprise level.
The Clarity Cloud can also be integrated with IMAGINiT’s other Clarity portfolio solutions such as IMAGINiT Clarity Security and IMAGINiT Clarity Owner Data Portal.
IMAGINiT shared in a press release that the Clarity Cloud will not be adhering to a traditional software release schedule scheme. The company will instead be focusing on developing the technology’s features and capabilities alongside the Autodesk Forge’s expansion. Forge is Autodesk’s cloud-based developer platform that offers APIs and services that allows users to easily access design and engineering data via cloud technology. Through Forge APIs, users can automate processes, connect teams and workflows, as well as visualize data.
The IMAGINiT Clarity Cloud is currently available through a monthly subscription pricing plan. For more information, visit www.imaginit.com/claritycloud.
