At Formnext, the major additive manufacturing companies are showing their latest equipment and products that they have introduced throughout the year, with the occasional new product.
For HP, it is showing its HP Jet Fusion 3D 4200 printer, introduced in the U.S. in May at the Rapid Conference. In addition to showing its printer, HP also showed its first certified plastic material to emerge from the HP Open Platform. Involved in the development of the PA-12 VESTOSINT powder was German based Evonik Industries, a leader in specialty chemicals. The Polyamide powders show excellent mechanical properties and are FDA compliant.
