How to calculate TIG welding cost and overhead cost per meter.Pl help me
Your question not complete yet, because thin or material wall is difference.
find cost of wire material and how much you use in a meter.
cost per hour of welder in question and how many meters can be done per hour
cost of gas used by flows when welding, should have regulator with flow meter in line, can then figure out how much gas is used per meter, also can be used for planning gas replacement so time is not lost waiting on new gases
cost of machine divided by amount of weld produced during life of machine, (find average meters per hour, divide by average hours per machine life. If hours on machine are not tracked they should be for this and maintenance planning, aggressive preventative maintance will greatly increase machine life, dependency, and reduce costs both in time lost repairing, and corrective maintenance).
cost of maintenance per hour, times hours spent on machine per maintenance session, divided by average hours between maintenance
Cost of replacement parts (find out total parts replaced per torch in a torch life divide this by life hours)
cost of electricity used by machine per hour divide this by average meters produced per hour
and lastly the time you spend figuring all this out and tracking it times the amount you’re paid per hour
This should be enough to help you get started
