The U.K. based experts in electroplating and 3D printing choose the ProMaker P1000 SLS printer to advance their additive manufacturing department.

Established in 2007 and located halfway between London and Birmingham, 3DDC has become the reference point in high quality and high-performance metal coating of 3D printed parts. They are a Tier 1 supplier in one of the most demanding environments: Formula 1.

The two motives that drive motorsport development are weight reduction and material mechanical properties, which makes it a good field of application for 3DDC’s leading know-how in additive manufacturing and electroplating.

The decision of 3DDC to add the ProMaker P1000 to their 3D printing department is the first step in the process of building an ongoing relationship between our two companies.

The ProMaker P1000 already proved to be a versatile and powerful laser sintering printer in the industrial entry-level segment. It meets 3DDC’s standards, so it is the first Prodways SLS printer to be installed in the U.K.
