Formlabs announced the launch of Form Wash L and Form Cure L, a fully automated post-processing system for the company’s line of large format printers, the Form 3L and Form 3BL.

With Form Wash L and Form Cure L, users can streamline their 3D printing workflow by automating the post-processing of their large-scale and high-volume prints to consistently produce high-quality parts. Together, the pair complete Formlabs’ large-format SL ecosystem.

Form Wash L cleans SL 3D printed parts after printing while Form Cure L completes the curing process to help parts achieve peak mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy. The two machines are compatible with Formlabs’ entire line of SL printers and can be used for both large parts or high throughput of smaller parts.

Post-processing with Wash L and Cure L automates and streamlines the workflow by offering users pre-programmed settings that are tuned to each Formlabs resin. These large format solutions have also been validated and are compatible with the majority of the company’s SL materials, including biocompatible, sterilizable materials made in our ISO 13485 facility.

The completion of this 3D printing ecosystem will enable users to take control of their large-scale production, increase throughput and bring their biggest ideas to life.
