Formlabs, a designer and manufacturer of desktop stereolithograhy 3D printers, has announced the addition of white resin to its growing library of build material.
Along with its opaque color, the company’s white resin provides improved color stability and surface texture.
The company was founded in 2011 by three engineers and designers from the MIT Media Lab. Fomrlabs drive to raise funding to mass produce its Form 1 3D printer succeeded on Oct 26, 2012 when it exceeded its $100,000 goal with nearly $3 million pledged.
