The ALGOR V19.2 software release, from Algor Inc., features enhancements for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and Mechanical Event Simulation (MES). This version models flow obstacles as distributed resistance parts, simplifying 3D modeling. New surface-to-surface contact options (slide/no bounce contact and tied contact) offer more realistic simulation and faster MES application.
Also included in the enhancements are faster industry-standard sparse solvers for linear dynamic analysis, static stress analysis and MES; and distributed memory processing for 32- and 64-bit Linux (Red Hat) for static stress analysis and MES.
