What to expect from Stratasys at the TCT Show 2017

Next month, at the 22nd annual TCT Show (26-28 September, NEC, Birmingham), Stratasys will demonstrate how its applied additive technologies are used by a diverse range of customers including Airbus, Opel and McLaren to verify designs, achieve time-to-market goals and unlock design freedom. From keynote presentations to on-stand competitions, TCT visitors can look forward to an exciting and insightful raft of highlights at this year’s event.

Tooling Up!
Highlighting an ongoing commitment to advancing its customers and their industries, Stratasys will deliver an informative keynote on the Product Stage, Tuesday 26th September, 2:30pm, entitled ‘Tooling Up: The 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing Opportunity Beyond the Design Process and into Production’. Amos Breyfogle, Senior Engineer at Stratasys, will demonstrate how Stratasys customers in industries such as aerospace are gaining supply chain improvements, accelerated product development, and low-volume customized part production with speed and efficiency by opting for additive technologies over traditional manufacturing.

Ready, set, go!
For those interested in automotive and motorsports workflow and production efficiencies, Simon Roberts, Chief Operations Officer at McLaren Racing, will deliver an insightful keynote on the Main Stage, Tuesday 26th September, 11:00am. Roberts will share how McLaren-Honda has applied Stratasys additive technology to test, innovate, and improve performance around F1.

The Stratasys’ stand (Hall 3, Stand D30) will also play host to the McLaren Formula 1 simulator car. TCT visitors will hear first-hand how McLaren, amongst other customers, are shortening design-cycles, testing and perfecting designs, producing lightweight, low-cost tools and production parts, as well as improving the assembly line with lower costs.

Think you are faster than the McLaren 2017 drivers? Try your luck at the Monaco Grand Prix circuit challenge. The fastest lap in the McLaren Formula 1 simulator car will win a prize.
