Engineers typically work a lot of hours and often times we forget about our own career......
As a civil engineer I know that we engineers are always working hard trying to solve problems. We are always helping our companies grow and grow, which is a very good thing. However, we often forget about our own career.
We own our career but for some reason many engineers don’t realize that. If we ever happen to get laid off, our company does not take our career, they only take our job. So it is very important that we always focus on advancing our career. We do not want to lose focus of that.
To help engineers maintain that focus I have decided that starting in Februray 2010 I will be sending out a BRIEF e-mail to help engineers stay focused and inspired on thier carer development and advancement. This is a FREE service with the goal of helping engineers advance and raising the overall awareness of career development support in the engineering industry. Feel freet to read more and sign up for this exciting free service.
