NI test suite enables faster, high-fidelity software validation, reducing costs.
Emerson has introduced the NI LabVIEW+ Suite for HIL, a software solution for engineers developing and testing embedded software. Designed for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) applications, the suite integrates test, validation, and data analysis tools into a single platform to improve workflow efficiency.

NI LabVIEW+ Suite for HIL is a software bundle that provides tools for simulating conditions that are difficult to replicate in testing. It supports modular component reuse and integrates with NI’s Switch Load and Signal Conditioning hardware for detecting edge cases. The suite allows system upgrades as technologies evolve and enables customization of software models to meet changing requirements.
NI LabVIEW+ Suite for HIL supports testing with modular hardware and a software-defined approach, allowing users to adjust to changing requirements. As product development increasingly relies on embedded software instead of electromechanical systems, rigorous testing through continuous integration becomes more important. The HIL strategy helps reduce time and resource demands while supporting product reliability in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and electronics.
The updated suite supports existing and new HIL users by improving workflow efficiency and adapting to the increasing complexity of next-generation products. It includes key development software such as NI VeriStand, NI LabVIEW, NI LabVIEW Real-Time, and NI LabVIEW FPGA, along with two newly integrated tools launching in 2025:
- NI TestStand, automates complex test systems to support efficient and scalable testing.Â
- NI DIAdem, allows advanced data review and analysis for faster decision-making.
To offer greater purchasing flexibility, Emerson is reintroducing perpetual licensing alongside subscription options, allowing customers to choose the model that best fits their needs.
