does anyone know if it is possible to change the default view angles from 30/30 to .... in the view command?
solidworks 2010 : I need to change the standard iso view angle from 30/30 to,…… is this possible?
There are actually three different default viewing angles in SW2010
Isometric –
Trimetric –
Dimetric –
If you need another viewing angle you can set that up, but it would not be a default.
What are you trying to do?

Neil, your answer is not of much help. I do know of the three standard views, but as I noted “I am looking for alternate view angle setting within solidworks.
I’m wanting to take a solid model and set the view angles so that my part would show at 20/20 view angles. Then I would export as an ACAD 2D drawing that shows an isometric view angles at 20/20 as well. Yes, that part will not be to scale in the 2D file, but I can adjust that later, I just need vertical lines to stay vertical and all others to be at 20 degrees.
Thank you for clarifying your question.
If you want to establish a new view angle you can do that. You can see the the scroll increments of the view angles to say 5 or 10 degrees through the Options menu, the View menu.
Then once back out you can orient the view as desired and save it as an alternate view.
