In my previous article, I discussed how to disable the refedit command by removing or renaming the actual DLL file. That method is still viable if you wish to completely end the use of that command. I have discovered another way that is less restrictive and more specifically targeted. It simply stops the Refedit command for certain drawings instead of the whole system.
