Digilent, now part of Emerson, has released Analog Discovery Pro 5470 and the Analog Discovery Pro 5490, available on July 31. These two new devices will round out the Analog Discovery Pro 5000 Series, which previously only included the ADP5250. With up to 500 MHz bandwidth, four channels, and 2 GS/s sampling rate, the ADP5000 series offers Analysis Uncompromised.
Each new device from Digilent – the ADP5470 and the ADP5490 – sports an integrated CAT II DMM (digital multimeter), three programmable power supplies, dedicated trigger line, and arbitrary waveform generator to complement the mixed signal oscilloscope, and many other tools that would otherwise take up valuable workspace.
With 34 digital inputs operating at 1 GS/s working in tandem with the 2 channel GHz scope of the ADP5250 or all 4 channels of the ADP5490 at 2 GHz and 500 MHz bandwidth, and access to all the familiar instruments available in the unified WaveForms software suite, these tools are true replacements for entire benchtop setups.
The Analog Discovery Pro 5250 was introduced in 2021 as Digilent’s first “all-in-one” device that truly aimed to be a complete replacement for a stack of equipment. The ADP5470 and ADP5490 are taking this idea even further.
