Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, and Develon, formerly Doosan Construction Equipment, introduced the Leica MC1 3D machine guidance system as a retrofit for newer excavator models. The system is compatible with Develon’s existing 2D sensors and calibration tools.
Machine guidance technology helps improve jobsite efficiency by offering more precise control for operators. This allows excavation work to better align with the reference model. Through ongoing collaboration, Leica Geosystems and Develon have developed the Leica MC1 3D machine guidance system to be compatible with Develon’s existing 2D systems on newer excavator models. This enables customers to upgrade to 3D technology without compatibility issues.
