Last week more setbacks were reported for the US military’s future fighter/bomber the F-35. Upon routine inspection a crack was found in one of the engine’s blades forcing the entire fleet to be grounded. This is only the latest in a history of setbacks that has seen the cost of the F-35 project skyrocket to more than $1 trillion.
