International simulation conference sponsored through SIMULIA.
Dassault Systèmes (DS) has been named a platinum Sponsor for the 2015 NAFEMS World Congress. The partnership between the International Association for the Engineering Analysis, Modelling and Simulation Community (NAFEMS) and DS will promote cross pollination between the SIMULIA portfolio and NAFEMS.
The NAFEMS World Congress will run from June 21st to 24th in San Diego. It will host over 150 presentations and 40 sessions based on simulation analysis and papers. This makes it one of the largest user events of its kind. Additionally, as an impartial forum, the Congress is a great way to assess state-of-the-art technology and best practices in an environment that is unbiased and open to all opinions. If you wish to add to the discussion the call for abstracts is open until November 17th.
Sumanth Kumar, VP of DS’s SIMULIA Portfolio Experience said, “As a global member of NAFEMS and Platinum Sponsor of the 2015 NAFEMS World Congress, Dassault Systèmes is committed to empowering the global simulation community to enhance their engineering, business and innovation leadership through the use of proven simulation technologies … We are also committed to enhancing and expanding our simulation portfolio to address a full range of engineering challenges from multiphysics to multiscale to managing and securing simulation IP.”
Tim Morris, NAFEMS CEO also said, “We are delighted to welcome Dassault Systèmes as Platinum Sponsor of our biennial World Congress. For the past four congresses we have received a great deal of support from their SIMULIA brand. We appreciate the trust that they place in us, and we look forward to having them on board for the event in San Diego next year.”
“The NAFEMS World Congress is a global event, in the true sense of the word,” Morris added. “As well as delegates and presenters travelling from all over the world to attend, the event also aims to give a comprehensive overview of current best practice and important issues in the simulation, modelling and analysis community. The caliber of papers and presentations, combined with the training courses and workshops included in the delegate fee, gives attendees an unrivalled insight into the use of simulation across every industry, from every part of the world. We truly believe that this is the key event of 2015 for anyone involved in analysis and simulation at any level.”
The Congress will also run alongside the 2nd annual SPDM (Simulation Process & Data Management Conference). Thus, attendees will be able to cross freely between both events. However, the Congress itself will host six parallel tracks, short courses, and workshops covering various topics. These topics include:
Structural Analysis | Business Issues | Geotechnical & Foundation Engineering |
Computational Fluid Dynamics | Simulation Data Management | Confidence in Results |
Dynamics & Testing | CAD CAE Integration | Multiphysics |
Multi-body Simulation | Materials | Electrical |
Analysis Management | Composites | e-Mobility |
Systems Modelling & Simulation | Life Sciences | Manufacturing Processes |
Methods | High Performance Computing | Stochastics |
