Clever tool helps clean up 3D printed parts

One of the pain points in 3D printing is the finishing required once a part has been built. 3D 2.0 Limited has developed an interesting tool to ease this pain point. The company has recently released Retouch3D, a heated tool with interchangeable tips for removing supports, cleaning-up printer errors, and smoothing out unsightly layers.

Retouch3D is targeted mainly at desktop printers that use the FFF approach to heat thermoplastic filament and build models layer-by-layer. Retouch3D has a heat range to manage the reheating and manipulation of all mainstream 3D printer filament types.

Retouch3D also works with 3D prints produced by other 3D printing technologies that use heat in their print processing.
