Cimolai Technology worked with Siemens’ sales partner, ATS Global, to implement Teamcenter and integrate PLM with the company’s existing ERP systems/
Siemens Digital Industries Software announced that Cimolai Technology, a company specializing in the design, production, and installation of lifting and handling equipment, has adopted the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio of industry software. The adoption is intended to support the development of reliable, customized solutions that meet complex technical requirements in sectors including shipbuilding, infrastructure, and heavy industry.

Cimolai Technology sought to improve management of large-scale assemblies and enhance collaboration between engineering and production teams. To achieve this, the company partnered with Siemens’ sales partner, ATS Global, to implement Siemens Xcelerator, integrating Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

A recent aerospace project highlighted the need for practical management of highly complex and sensitive data. With the selection of Siemens’ Teamcenter software for PLM, Cimolai Technology has better managed the development of the Self Propelled Transporter FBT 300. This system is designed for the horizontal integration of the first stage of the Ariane 6 and VegaC solid rocket motors.

Cimolai Technology designs and manufactures heavy lifting equipment for shipyards, construction, and industrial use, offering customized solutions to meet specific application needs.
