You are not alone. An ENGINEERING.com survey has revealed that only 13% of designers and engineers have a consumer-class 3D printer at work, and none have one at home.
Yet, interest in having one is very high. Only 16% said that they have no interest in having a consumer-class 3D printer at home or work. Interest does decline (31%) when all job functions are considered.
Where would our readers place a newly purchased 3D printer? Thirty-one percent would use it on the job, and twenty-five percent would have one both in the home and in the workplace.
