TORONTO, Canada, Feb 16, 2024 – Bridgit, the pioneering force in construction workforce planning software, has announced the appointment of Dave Pooley, CPA, CA, as chief financial officer. Capitalizing on a successful 2023 that saw significant customer acquisition and expansion, Bridgit is primed for further growth with Pooley at the helm.
Pooley will oversee Bridgit’s financial strategy and efficiency across the organization. His role will be critical in guiding the company through ambitious revenue and product development goals.
“Dave is an accomplished CFO and business executive with experience at VC and P/E-backed Enterprise SaaS businesses,” said Mallorie Brodie, chief executive officer and co-founder at Bridgit. “He brings a proven track record of driving strong financial results, coupled with a strategic mindset – his expertise will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in driving continued growth at Bridgit.”
Pooley joins Bridgit with a wealth of experience, previously acting as chief financial officer for Axonify Inc. For nearly a decade, he developed financial strategies, focused on risk reduction and efficiencies, and helped lead the company to a successful Private Equity exit to Luminate in 2021. More recently, he has acted as a fractional CFO for Technology and SaaS companies, including Bridgit.
“Having been lucky enough to have previously worked for another successful Waterloo-based, women-led tech company, I knew when the opportunity was presented at Bridgit that it was something I could not pass down,” said Pooley, CFO at Bridgit. “The leadership strength and focus between the founders, Mallorie and Lauren, the incredible company culture, and the highly commercialized and utilized product in the construction market present a great future for the business and something I want to be part of and contribute to. I appreciate the chance to work with this team and am excited to see the value we can continue to deliver to our customers and shareholders.”
