Bentley’s Year in Infrastructure: 57 Finalists Span the Globe

Engineering.com explores all 57 finalist projects in Bentley’s 2018 Year in Infrastructure Awards.

BIM company Bentley has announced the finalists of their 2018 Year in Infrastructure Awards. These 57 finalists were selected from 420 nominations, all from Bentley-using infrastructure companies across the globe. Finalists from all of the awards’ 19 categories will be narrowed down to a single award-winner on October 15th, during Bentley’s Year in Infrastructure conference.

Read on to learn more about the finalists for each category. You’ll notice that not every project has a description, which is due to the fact that not all of the projects have revealed details to the public. However, some of the projects we explore here have not even been shared by Bentley, but were discovered after extensive research on foreign language sites.

By going through our list, you’ll have a glimpse into major architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) achievements occurring throughout the world, giving you a bird’s eye view of the state of AEC today.
