B9Creations announced that its B9 Core 5 Series XL – 385 3D printer, and its medically-compliant version, the Core 5 Series Med XL – 385, will be made available for pre-order at MD&M Minneapolis in booth #2616.
The B9 Core 5 Series XL – 385 is the company’s largest-format 3D printer platform to date with < 25 micron effective resolution and has a 385-nanometer light engine that enables customers to 3D print translucent, white, and specialty materials with pinpoint accuracy. The B9 Core 5 Series Med XL – 385 boasts IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 medical equipment compliance, CE certified through third-party testing.
Along with its brand-new Core 5 Series XL – 385 3D printers, B9Creations is also set to release a translucent companion resin, called HD Clear. Ideal for high-precision parts that require translucency, HD Clear is an acrylic-like material that prints with extreme accuracy and enables customers to achieve parts with a colorless, smooth, glossy surface finish. With polishing or coating, 3D printed parts can be made fully transparent and appear glass-like.
