The software offers an all-in-one platform for AI-powered endpoint threat detection and response.

AT&T recently announced the launch of its new managed endpoint security solution in partnership with developer SentinelOne. The new technology will offer the ability to detect endpoint threats under a single software platform. This will include antivirus, endpoint protection, endpoint detection and response, as well as IoT security functions courtesy of SentinelOne. The company says they will also be adding 24/7 threat monitoring and management via the AT&T Security Operations Center (SOC) which will enable improved visibility through regular monitoring and automated incident response.
The AT&T Managed Endpoint Security with SentinelOne will be able to track processes that take place on and between each endpoint, minimizing gaps in security. The platform also utilizes AI and machine learning to immediately identify and respond to threats as they occur. The two companies have also made it possible for the software to deliver protection even when the endpoint is offline thanks to an autonomous agent. This is particularly ideal for the shift into remote work as more companies are allowing their employees to work from home, ensuring that all endpoints are protected at all times.
The AT&T SOC team of analysts will also provide additional support, however, this time users can leverage the use of one dedicated SOC team to conduct endpoint threat detection. According to AT&T, SOC teams can often become overwhelmed with various alerts and data which can be challenging when dealing with both on-premises and cloud monitoring and threat detection. The introduction of a single platform that allows SOC teams to instantly view threats through one agent enables them to identify and react to threats much quicker thanks to improved network visibility. In this sense, the technology is also ideal for organizations with limited and understaffed security teams.
Prior to the partnership with SentinelOne, AT&T Cybersecurity offered the AlienVault Unified Security Management (USM) platform which utilizes both Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and log management. This includes security tools such as asset discovery, vulnerability assessment, and intrusion detection (NIDS and HIDS). SentinelOne’s technology will allow for wider endpoint protection and improve network visibility.
“More endpoints and data are crossing an increasingly complex network environment, causing the cyber-attack surface to grow and new threats to emerge. With our expertise in managed security, fiber, and 5G connectivity solutions, we are helping enterprises to reduce the risk of endpoint security attacks using AI to accelerate the detection of threats, enabling them to focus on their business innovation,” shared AT&T Cybersecurity Vice President Rupesh Chokshi.
SentinelOne co-founder and CEO Tomer Weingarten also expressed in a statement the company’s enthusiasm in working with AT&T to improve security offerings for various industries.
“Together, SentinelOne’s leading endpoint security solution and AT&T Cybersecurity’s expertise in managing SOC operations delivers next-generation endpoint protection. Our comprehensive approach deploys cutting-edge AI to secure endpoints, IoT devices and cloud workloads—empowering organizations to securely do more.”
AT&T managed Endpoint Security with SentinelOne is now available to AT&T Managed Threat Detection and Response customers.
