Ansys to integrate NVIDIA Omniverse for advanced simulation visualization

Ansys Fluent and AVxcelerate Sensors will integrate NVIDIA Omniverse APIs and Kit App Streaming.

Ansys announced it will introduce enhanced data processing and visualization tools through NVIDIA Omniverse integration in select products, starting with Fluent and AVxcelerate Sensors. These integrations will streamline simulation processes by automating manual data preparation and enabling high-fidelity models for deeper insights. This simplifies result interpretation, making insights more accessible to engineers, stakeholders, and customers.

Preparing large volumes of data for simulation entails ensuring its quality, interoperability, and flexibility. This means users are working across multiple software programs to prepare parameters for one simulation model. After the model is parametrized, additional tools and expertise may be needed for visualization.

By leveraging Omniverse technologies, Ansys software supports compatibility, expansion, and flexible data management within an open framework. Integrating Omniverse technologies with Ansys products allows customers to efficiently process simulation data, particularly for AVxcelerate Sensors applications. Ansys users can render immersive, photorealistic models within the Ansys interface, supporting real-time collaboration and improving communication of results. PyAnsys, a family of Python packages that enable users to interact with Ansys products, formats simulation data without manual intervention, allowing simulation practitioners and developers to customize and automate simulations within applications integrated with NVIDIA Omniverse.
