Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology seems to be the hot additive manufacturing method lately. EnvisionTEC offers a number of 3D printers that use DLP to solidify material into objects. Now, another company has entered this part of the market, Prodways. The company announced four 3D printers at the Euromold show last December.
DLP is a bit like stereolithography in that the build material is a vat of liquid resin. It delivers part accuracy and finish on par with stereolithography. Check out this video from Prodways.
