Tulsa, Oklahoma – American Precision Prototyping, LLC. (APP) announces the debut of additional enhancements to their recently redesigned online quote system.
APP has been providing customers the convenience of online quoting and part purchasing since their inception in 2002. Last year, APP successfully debuted to their customers a slick redesigned website and online quote system. This year APP customers are getting what they asked for; a new ramped up, power packed version with enhancements to spare.
The most powerful new tool for APP customers is the multiple service quoting/ordering features. This allows customers to quickly and easily quote and
order any combination of additive fabrication services APP has to offer. This tool will reduce the amount of time needed for quoting and ordering and is available for both instant and manual quotes. The list of instant quotable services has also expanded. Customers can now receive instant online quotes for polyjet and cast urethanes in addition to SLA, SLS and FDM.
Several other new features designed to enhance their customer’s quoting/order experience include shipping insurance, real time shipping quotes from FedEx and UPS and the ability to upload other file types in addition to STL files.
Customers will now be able to upload any type of 3D CAD files, drawings and even
supporting documents like .pdfs for manual quotes. The real time FedEx and UPS
shipping quotes ensure customers have accurate shipping costs before ordering parts so there are no surprises when they receive the invoice. The shipping
insurance option available to customers is unlike the standard shipping insurance
offered by most freight carriers. The insurance offered by APP will cover the full
replacement of the parts rather than just a portion of the declared value of the
package. This gives participating customers the security of knowing their parts are
protected should something happen during transit.
An additional benefit to the customer is an expanded profile section. Customers can now store multiple shipping and billing addresses, multiple shipping accounts and they can manage their security question and answer and password.
