Autodesk® has named ALGOR finite element analysis software as a 32- and 64-bit Certified Application for Autodesk® Inventor® 2009 software. The certification ensures engineers have access to a comprehensive CAD/CAE system. The analysis and simulation capabilities of the software allow Inventor users to simulate their designs before build.

ALGOR software features an easy-to-use single user interface, FEMPRO®, which provides direct CAD/CAE data exchange with most 3-D modeling software including Autodesk Inventor. You simply choose the analysis tools needed for access to such simulation capabilities as: static stress with linear and nonlinear material models; Mechanical Event Simulation (MES) for nonlinear, multi-body dynamics with large-scale motion, large deformation and large strain with body-to-body contact; linear dynamics; fatigue; CFD including steady-state and transient heat transfer, steady and unsteady fluid flow and mass transfer; electrostatics; full multiphysics; and piping.
