AEWIN and Fabric8Labs partner to develop efficient, sustainable hardware for advanced AI workload demands.
Fabric8Labs, Inc. announced that AEWIN Technologies has selected its manufacturing technology to provide thermal management solutions for the next generation of Edge AI systems.

The growing need for localized, high-density computing calls for effective cooling solutions. AEWIN’s partnership with Fabric8Labs aims to develop hardware platforms that address power and performance needs of AI workloads.
Fabric8Labs’ ECAM technology uses high-resolution pure copper additive manufacturing to produce customized 3D cooling structures and heat sinks beyond traditional manufacturing limits. Using ECAM, AEWIN employs advanced 3D micro-mesh boiler plates that improve thermal performance by over 1.3 °C/100W compared to other options. The ECAM micro-mesh design increases surface area by more than 900% and creates a capillary network to maintain coolant flow at the boiling interface, enhancing heat dissipation.
AEWIN, a member of the Qisda Business Group, is renowned for its expertise in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructure. By integrating Fabric8Labs’ ECAM-enabled solutions, AEWIN can optimize system-level thermal performance while reducing overall power usage and improving sustainability.
AEWIN’s platforms support both PFAS and PFAS-free coolants, providing flexibility for various sustainable cooling methods. Using ECAM-enabled boiler plates, they achieve PUEs below 1.02. AEWIN and Fabric8Labs are working together to develop advanced thermal management solutions for high-performance computing.
