Additive Manufacturing Users Group Conference, Register now

The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) today announced that online registration is now available for its 2013 conference, which will be held in Jacksonville, Florida, from April 14 – 18, 2013. The users group conference, now in its 25th year, is open to owners and operators of all additive manufacturing (AM) technologies.

Gary Rabinovitz, AMUG president, stated, “2013 promises to be a big year for the conference. We are building on the success of the 2012 event, the first to be open to all AM technologies, and incorporating requests from our members to add education and training to our agenda’s focus.“ He continued, “We’ve also completely revamped the registration process, which was another member request.”

The AMUG Conference will include technical sessions and hands-on workshops designed to help users get more from their systems. Through technical competitions and the annual Awards Banquet, excellence in applying AM and contributions to the industry will be recognized. The five-day event also includes a two-night Exhibitor Expo, networking receptions and catered meals.

According to Dan Welker, first-time attendee at the 2012 conference, “I was amazed — between the conference sessions, the hands-on workshops and the networking opportunities — at all of the information I was able to obtain by attending this year’s users group meeting. The knowledge that was both presented and shared by other attendees was overwhelming.”

The advanced, all-inclusive conference registration fee is $595.00. For details and a link to registration, visit www.am-ug.com.

Rabinovitz noted that companies interested in participating as exhibitors or sponsors may also use the online registration process.
