The ranking, developed by TIME and Statista, evaluated more than 5,000 major global companies based on criteria including revenue, market presence, and sustainability-related performance. The final list of 500 companies from 35 countries and 21 industries was determined through a four-step process that considered over 20 indicators. These included sustainable practices, environmental and social initiatives, reporting transparency, and third-party ratings. ABB received an overall sustainability score of 81.92 out of 100.
