PCNC 440 offers high cutting power in a small footprint.
Tormach Inc’s newest entry in personal CNC machinery is the PCNC 440. The CNC mill has a similar design compared to Tormach’s other machinery, but in a smaller package.
The PCNC 440 has a footprint of 40” x 32” x 42” and weighs just 450 lbs. It has a spindle speed of 300 to 10,000 RPM, a max feed rate of 135 IPM. It is capable of cutting plastics and aluminum as well as harder metals like steel and titanium.
It is controlled by PathPilot, Tormach’s proprietary control system.
“This machine truly fits all-around capability in a compact and affordable package. It’s perfect for anybody that wants to do real cutting, but doesn’t have a lot of space,” Andrew Grevstad, Tormach’s product marketing manager.
