‘Smart’ iPhone Cases

If you’re looking for an iPhone case with both beauty and brains, you might want to take a look at these two smart cases. The Cavity Case and TaskOne are two functional iPhone cases that are more than just pretty.

The Cavity Case is a multi-functional case for iPhone 4 and 5 that doubles as a compact wallet. Along with cash and credit cards, it will carry your house and car keys, including a remote. The case also packs a telescoping pen, embedded mirror, and wrist strap,. The Cavity Case consists of two pieces: an iPhone case with card holders, and a multi-purpose storage area to hold a car remote, lip gloss, USB stick, a lighter or a pack of gum. You can combine the two pieces, or separate them to fit more easily in your pockets.

The TaskOne is a multi-tool case for the iPhone 4, 4s and 5 that houses a 2.5” serrated knife, saw, screwdrivers, pliers and ten other tools for your next a camping trip or home repair project. Sliders on the back of the phone make for easy access, and integrated spring and clip assemblies lock the tools in place both in and out of storage. If you’ve ever looked at a Swiss army knife and said, “that’s nice, but I wish it had a cell phone and an MP3 player,” the TaskOne may be for you.

First prototypes of the Cavity Case and TaskOne have been built.  The companies are now seeking funds on Indiegogo.com.
