ASM Assembly Systems (ASM) exhibited several of its new systems at this year’s IPC APEX in San Diego, Calif. One such system is the DEK NeoHorizon printer, created to communicate board transfer information via the Hermes Standard, and machine-to-line software communication via the CFX standard. The lines consist of eight different machine suppliers all passing PCBs down the line using the Hermes protocol between the machines for the first time.
