Advantech has introduced its WISE-PaaS 3.0 cloud architecture, which is composed of several submodules. WISE-PaaS/SaaS Composer, for instance, is a cloud configuration tool with visible workflow that supports customized component plotting for 3D modeling application and interaction.

Another module, WISE-PaaS/AFS (AI Framework Service), is an artificial intelligence training model and deployment service framework providing a drag-and-drop interface that allows developers to quickly input industrial data. When combined with AI algorithms, the service builds an effective inference engine with automatic deployment to edge computing platforms.

ARCTIC Fan Series

ARCTIC has expanded its range of case fans with the P Series. The high-static pressure line of fans consists of six models, each available in 120mm and 140mm versions. The P-Fans are engineered to maximize the cooling potential of radiators. Their newly designed fan blades enable a focused airflow, which makes them well suited for heatsinks and radiators with higher air resistance.

In addition to the impeller design, the PWM Models of the P Series (including the BioniX) also feature improved motor technology. Thanks to the Neodym-Iron-Boron-Magnet ring of the latest generation of fans, these models run smoothly and generate notably less operating noise and vibration from commutation without compromising performance and service life.

Littelfuse Power SIP Relay

Littelfuse has released the CPC1984Y, a 600V, Normally Open Power SIP Relay that is rated for up to 1A DC/1Arms continuous load current. This device uses optically coupled MOSFET technology to provide 4000Vrms of input-to-output isolation. The optically coupled outputs, which employ IXYS ICD’s OptoMOS architecture, are controlled by an infrared LED.

Master Bond Electrical Epoxy

Master Bond has launched EP41S-6, a two component epoxy system that meets UL 1203, which is defined by Underwriters Laboratories as the “Standard for Explosion-Proof and Dust-Ignition-Proof Electrical Equipment for Use in Hazardous (Classified) Locations.”

EP41S-6 is a thermally stable compound possessing a glass transition temperature of 145°C to 150°C and serviceability from -62°C to +260°C. It offers a high dielectric strength of 440 volts/mil at 75°F for a 0.125-inch thickness.

Viscom 3D Bond Inspection

Viscom has unveiled a camera module for its S6056BO 3D bond inspection system. Designed to handle the requirements of wire bond inspection, the module is based on the 3D AOI modules XM and XMplus, which are used in the S3088 ultra gold and S3088 ultra chrome systems.

Bonds are used as jumpers in power electronics, which is why they are integral parts of the ever-evolving storage batteries in the electromobility sector, among other applications.
