Editors at CNET (www.cnet.com) named 3D Systems as a finalist in this year’s “Best of CES” awards for its Cube 3D printer and Cubify.com website. Winners will be announced on Thursday, January 12, at 2:00 p.m. (EST) live at the CNET booth in the South Hall lobby.

The “Best of CES” Awards, which are produced and judged by CNET, recognize the hottest products at the 2012 CES, including a Best of Show and People's Voice award selected by the CNET online audience. The awards recognize the most innovative products that set the standard for all other products in the industry.

“It’s a real honor to be a finalist in this year’s “Best of CES” awards. said Abe Reichental, president and CEO of 3D Systems. “Cubify.com empowers everyone to unleash their creativity and bring their unique ideas to life in 3D.”

The Cube 3D home printer is a fully-assembled consumer device at $1,299. According to the company, Cubify.com combines coloring book simplicity with the most comprehensive online digital resources and tools to deliver a vivid and fluid 3D create-and-make experience.
