School Information:

Since its founding in 1891, the College of Engineering has graduated over 25,000 engineers. Currently, it enrolls about 2750 undergraduates and 500 graduate students yearly. There are approximately 125 faculty members. OSU engineering graduates have been responsible for a wide range of innovative developments. Almost every citizen of the United States has experienced the computer mouse and automobile airbag which resulted from the work of our graduates. We take great pride in the fact that OSU-educated engineers are responsible for many advances in electronic devices and computer technology. They are also involved in projects to ensure clean air and water, develop new sources of energy, improve modes of transportation, help develop new computers and software, and create new methods for analyzing and solving problems
